Laurie Powell
Website Updates
As a foundation crew member since 2000, Laurie focuses on web updates, and adding sale catalogues to the many websites COWS maintains. Laurie also works for Mount Royal College in their IT department as a Client Support Analyst.

Laurie, her husband, Ken, and their two teenage sons live in the beautiful Alberta foothills of the Rocky Mountains south west of Calgary. Although spare time is mostly filled with their sons' sporting activities, Laurie also enjoys riding and hunts with the Calgary Hunt Club.

Kosahn Dietz
Programming and Technical Support
Kosahn has been a long time "brick" in the foundation at COWS . Behind the scenes he has offered unwavering technical support and computer consultation advice whenever we need it. Kosahn is our unsung hero and secret weapon!

Miles Keir
Web Developer & Graphic Design Artist
Miles joined us in July 2002 and complimented our crew with his excellent graphic design skills. Miles is a talented artist and top website developer. He has been a big resource for developing spectacular unique designs for COWS customers. With COWS expanding into a wider scope of business web development, Miles' corporate design flare enables a smooth transition into these new areas and his skills compliment our company tremendously.

Miles and his wife Keiko live in Vancouver - enjoying the temperate climate the west coast has to offer. We had them in Calgary for awhile, but they missed Vancouver and went back!

Ken Stiles - In Memory
Ken Stiles was a mentor to Rhonda and Sandra for several years. His brilliant business advise, guidance and consultation has given the COWS foundation immeasurable strength. Thank you for being there for us. God Bless you Ken - your wisdom and advise has continued with us even though you are no longer with us here.

Katie Colyer
Website Updates - Consultation, Sales, Video Production
As one of Rhonda's first website clients at COWS, Colyer Herefords have been a loyal and progressive customer. They helped us develop and have successfully utilized our online auction for their Annual Internet Heifer Sale each July.

This Kansas State (go Wildcats!) graduate came on board to help with website updates and liaises with many of our American customers. Watch for Katie at Denver, Reno, Fort Worth and other stock shows - she's great to visit with, quick to smile and is very helpful and knowledgeable about both cattle and web site design.

Based in Boise, Idaho, Katie recently began offering a new complimentary service with her company called Crystal Clear Creations, which produces videos on DVD. If you are interested in a video sale preview of your cattle to send out or have a special event you would like promoted or recorded on DVD - let us know and we'll put you in touch with Katie.

Marilyn Callaway
Accounts Manager / Billing
Joining the COWS camp back in September of 2006, Marilyn brings forth her intuitive business sense and organizational experience from her years of business management and bookkeeping.  Her straight forward, systematic approach has improved COWS structure and foundation. Marilyn enjoys training horses, barrel racing and giving riding lessons along with cheering on and supporting her three daughters in their life endeavors. The COWS Team is blessed with Marilyn's wonderful personality and talent.

Paige Callaway
Website Consultant
Joining COWS in July 2007, Paige quickly grasped the business and became passionate about helping people market their ‘product’ online.  Paige’s infectious smile and beautiful personality lend to her honesty and integrity as a great sales person.   

Paige was raised in Priddis, Alberta and experienced public relations at many angles with her parents publishing the Angus World magazine.  Paige is going into her third year at Tarleton State University where she will finish her degree in Communications.  Apart from competing in barrel racing and breakaway roping, Paige is a trick rider and performs across Canada and the US.  In her spare time she makes enjoys making jewelry.

Kelly Campbell
Web Design and Updates
Kelly started working with COWS in the Summer of 2007 as an apprentice website designer from Assiniboine Community College. Kelly is an avid horsewoman, riding and training hunter-jumpers at a stable near her home near Wawanesa, Manitoba.

Kathy Warnyca
Sales and Project Coordinator
Born and raised on a Southeastern Saskatchewan mixed cattle and grain farm.  The cattle aspect of the farm was of most interest to Kathy and she enjoyed showing and marketing cattle worldwide on behalf of the family's registered herd, W-T-K Polled Herefords.  A move to Southern Alberta in 1997 gave her the additional cattle knowledge within the feedlot industry.  Along with travel and gardening as hobbies she enjoys the never ending quest for a "Hole In One" while golfing!

Marlene Baier
Website Design & Graphic Artist
Marlene joined COWS in December of 2007 and is already a valued member of our team. She comes with 10 years of experience in web design, having built the 1st and subsequent web sites for the Faculty of Nursing, Univeristy of Calgary. She has also built many ranch oriented web sites, and others. She now lives on a 12 acre spread in the beautiful foothills of southern Alberta and enjoys the great outdoors with her husband and two cats. Marlene enjoys hiking, camping, cross country skiing, wildlife watching, and photography in her free time.

Grant Rolston
Livestock Photographer - Website Sales
COWS was happy to add Grant to our team of traveling consultants early in 2003. Grant is a professional livestock photographer founded by a solid ranching background. Ranch-raised in BC, Grant and partner Lauralee Sismy (riding shotgun, with the most amazing "ear" techniques you've ever seen) have traveled extensively photographing livestock at many major shows, in addition to extensive on-farm work.
